Dawsons provided all mechanical shutdown works. This included mobilisation of a total of 430 personnel which included Supervisors, Pipe Welders, Fitters, Boilermakers, Riggers and Labourers. The project was completed on time and under budget with good quality. Works included rebuilds of the Blast Furnace, Lead Plant, Slag Fumer Plant and two new feed conveyors.
Fabrication of 600 tonne of steelwork for wharf expansion, permanent and temporary steelwork in mild and stainless, pile welding. Fabrication to 5131CC3.
