Dawsons has been providing shutdown support to the mining industry throughout Australia and south-east Asia for over 30 years. Our proven track record in mobilising safe, productive crews is unparalleled, with 8.4 million man-hours logged over 1,100 shutdowns.

The ability to manage large numbers of workers is one of our core strengths and we regularly mobilise crews of up to 250 workers for shutdowns throughout Australia. This is underpinned by the depth of experience in our crews and systems, and means we are able to manage shutdowns of all sizes and durations, in any location.

We are service focused and take the time to understand your requirements. Our labour hire coordinators are on call seven days a week with access to our database at all times, and are able to provide highly experienced professionals, para-professionals, trades and unskilled labour tailored specifically to your project.

We're always ready to go. We believe in our ability to attract and retain the highest quality personnel and we use our own labour hire staff within the Dawsons workshops. Our workshops in Cairns, Townsville and Mt Isa are also geared to provide the complete shutdown support package, with off-site fabrication and mechanical repairs, tooling containers, craneage and vehicles able to mobilise at short notice.
